Operation Christmas Child

A soccer ball. A baby doll with light brown skin and no hair. A new short-sleeved shirt. A small flashlight with batteries. A melamine plate, bowl, and/or cup. A bar of soap in a plastic lidded container. A toothbrush with a plastic cover. Pencils, pens, erasers, and sharpeners. What do these items have in common? They are all highly recommended for shoebox gifts headed to Operation Christmas Child for distribution around the world by Samaritan's Purse. As a joint project this year, Peace Church and Peace Preschool encourage every Peace family to pack at least one shoebox and bring it to the church before Sunday, November 19. Make it a project for the entire family and help us bless hundreds of children! Last year we packed 173 boxes. This year our goal is 200+. Look for materials and more information in the admin hallway.
