Comfort and Care

Comfort & Care is a ministry that seeks to encourage and equip Peace members to be effective, distinctive Christian caregivers, thereby continuing the earthly ministry of Jesus through word and deed.  C&C coordinates practical help for people when they face challenging times.  Your participation offering care and support for our church family, and in the community, is welcomed and needed in the following ways:

Meals-for someone who is ill or following a death of a relative

Visits-for someone in the hospital or who is isolated

Childcare-temporary care in emergencies

Respite care-relieve a family caregiver and act as a companion to a senior or adult with a disability.

Transportation-drive to medical appointments, drive at nighttime for those with vision issues.

Chores-light housekeeping, laundry, shopping for those temporarily disabled

Handyman Ministry- home repair needs, car repair, home and yard maintence, help moving

Mentoring-newly married, new parents

Monthly Support groups: Single Moms; Caregiver Support

Team meetings to plan, prioritize and coordinate care each month
