Music Opportunities at Peace

Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. Psalm 33:1-3

Peace seeks to use a variety of music to worship the Holy Trinity in song and puts an emphasis on humility in its leadership and quality in its music.

Contact Pastor for Worship, Ken Langley to speak about your possible involvement in any of these ensembles.

Music Team

Our main music ensemble which leads corporate singing each week. Vocals, piano, guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, violin, cello, percussion, invited to participate.

Instrumentalists

There are opportunities for instrumentalists to play a solo for an offertory during a worship service. We are always looking for pianists to play for the service music (prelude, offertory, Doxology)

String Ensemble

Violin, Viola, Cello, flute, or any other orchestral instrument. We play several times a year, especially near Christmas and Easter, to accompany the congregation for worship. There are also opportunities to play outside of church.

Outreach Choir and Orchestra

Our Choral outreach ensemble made up of soprano, alto, tenor, bass voice parts. Middle school age and up. We sing throughout the year at assisted living residencies. Our goal is to use music to glorify God, edify those listening and show the assisted living community that we care about them. We also have an orchestra that occasionally plays with the choir. We use Planning Center Online to schedule musicians, Sound Team and to plan the worship services each week.
