Every November, Peace Church fills Thanksgiving boxes to give to families going through difficult times, in the Wesleyan First Church of Deliverance in Raleigh, and in our own Peace family. This year we will also be assisting those in need at Kingswood Elementary.
Our goal is to fill 100 boxes! Donations of nonperishable food items may be placed in the designated boxes in the nursery hallway, and at the entrance to the Sanctuary from October 21 - November 11. We are also collecting donations to purchase gift cards for these families. If you would like to donate money for these gift cards, please put “Thanksgiving Boxes” on the memo line of your check and place it in the offering or mail it to the church.
