Prayer #148: For Caregivers During the Coronavirus Crisis
There are millions of caregivers across the country, taking care of those ill with COVID-19. Today we want to remember them in prayer. Topping the list are the medical caregivers at hospitals, physicians and nurses, and other staff who have by now been taking care of Coronavirus patients for months. These do so at some risk to themselves. Some nurses working most directly with COVID-19 patients have had to live separately from family members who are at higher risk for the virus. There are also many in-home caregivers for Coronavirus patients. These too are serving selflessly at risk to themselves.
Pray for God's protection over the many caregivers of COVID-19 patients as they serve at risk to themselves. Pray that they would be cautious as they care for those with Coronavirus, and they would have the protective equipment they need. Pray that these caregivers would be a great encouragement to those suffering from COVID-19. Pray the Lord would give them endurance. Pray too that He would keep them from discouragement. Especially pray that these caregivers would look to God for all they need to continue to serve.
Col. 1:11: "May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy."
