Prayer #30: For the Airline Industry During the Coronavirus Crisis
One of the biggest industries hit hard by the Coronavirus crisis is the airline industry. Airports are virtual ghost towns, with very few people flying at all. Airline companies are losing $60 million or more a day. In spite of a $58 lifeline to the airline industry given through the recent Cares Act by Congress, airline companies are still hurting very badly. Some may end up in bankruptcy. We want now to remember them in prayer.
Today we lift up this industry on which so many rely on transportation. When the COVID-19 crisis ends, there will need to be enough airlines still around for business and personal travel. Pray that God would see this industry through this financial catastrophe. Pray for God's provision for all in the industry who are now out of work---everyone from ticket counter workers, tarmac and baggage workers, airport concession staff, mechanics, flight attendants, and pilots. The near-complete shutdown of this industry affects many, many people.
Heb. 4:16: "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
