Prayer #304: For National Guard Members Infected with COVID-19
Over 100 members of the National Guard members stationed in Washington, D.C. have become infected with COVID-19. These were part of the approximately 26,000 National Guard that were stationed in the nation's capital prior to the inauguration, of which 10,600 remain. 7,000 will be remaining until the end of the month. Such a large number working often in close proximity has made it difficult to maintain social distancing and to observe carefully all COVID protection protocols. We want to lift up those who have been infected in prayer today.
Pray for quick healing, with no complications, for all these National Guard members who have come down with COVID-19. These National Guard personnel come from many states; pray for their families, with whom they are separated, and who now are doubly anxious for the wellbeing of their husbands, wives, and fathers. Pray too that the virus would not spread further among the National Guard stationed in Washington, D.C.
Ps. 31:19: "Oh, how abundant is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You and worked for those who take refuge in You, in the sight of the children of mankind."
