Prayer #373: For the Easing of Travel COVID Testing Requirements in the U.S.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) today has updated its guidance for travel within the United States. People who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can now travel within the country without getting tested or self-quarantining. Travelers should still, the CDC says, wear masks and observe social distancing, even if fully vaccinated. "Fully vaccinated travelers are less likely to get and spread COVID-19," the CDC stated, adding that if the destination still requires testing, fully-vaccinated travelers would still need to adhere to the destination's requirements. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after either their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or two weeks after their one-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Let us continue to pray for travelers during this time of COVID-19. Pray that as vaccinations continue, more people would be able to travel, with the elimination of testing requirements for fully vaccinated people.
Ps. 18:1-2: "I love Thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge."
