Prayer #375: For Our Second Easter During COVID
We have now come to our second Easter under COVID. Last Easter, which came soon after the COVID lockdowns, we were all worshiping at home as services were streamed. Some of us, but by no means all of us, are able to attend Easter services in person, some outside, some inside. Others will be worshipping from home again this Easter. But no matter where we worship, we all, today, will celebrate the great, eternal truth of the Resurrection. Regardless of where we are today, we will all rejoice in Christ's victory over sin and death, that the grave could not hold Him, and that He is risen. COVID may have changed a lot of things, at least for a while, but this truth never changes! Happy Easter. Hallelujah! He is risen!
Even as COVID is still with us now, let us nevertheless rejoice that we serve a risen Savior. Let us celebrate His great victory. And even in the midst of this pandemic, let us remember that Christ---Him crucified, Him resurrected, and Him ascended, is our true hope.
Lk. 24:34: "The Lord has risen indeed . . . "
