The Beatitudes were the first lessons taught by Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount. In a series of “Blessed are” statements, Jesus reveals the characteristics of those who have God’s blessing and defines the blessing itself. In this Sunday school class, we will examine each beatitude in order of appearance in Matthew 5 and learn how we can be counted among those who are blessed by God.
