At Peace, loving and leading children are top priorities. We want to partner with parents in their efforts to build a strong spiritual foundation for their children.
Our prayer and pursuit are that each child would understand the saving grace of Jesus Christ, growing into mature disciples that live daily in light of God’s glory and grace.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a key component of our mission to partner with parents in building a strong spiritual foundation for their children. Our church’s rich legacy of children’s education focuses first on loving and nurturing these young ones. We teach Bible stories and truths from God’s Word. Find out all about the Sunday School classes offered here.  Nursery (2 years & younger) is offered during the Sunday School hour, too.

Sunday Night Groups

We offer in-person Sunday night groups including Nursery (infants and toddlers), Joymakers (ages PK2/PK3), Friendmakers (ages PK4 - Grade 1), Peacemakers (Grades 2-5).  This gives our children to have the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate groups, to learn the joy of praising and learning about God together, and to strengthen friendships with other children their age.

Joymakers is for preschool age (ages PK2/PK3) and meets in room C107 in the Education Building.

Friendmakers (PK4 - Grade 1) offers opportunities each week for younger children to appreciate God’s beautiful gift of music through listening, singing, and movement with instruments and props.

Peacemakers (Grades two through five in the Sanctuary) present a full musical each spring. Director Becky Shedor has more than 35 years of experience with this group and, along with her team, provides training in drama, voice, and movement for the kids. Vacation Bible School

Peace Church loves VBS! This special one-week ministry is offered free of charge each summer with classes for kindergarten-aged children through fifth graders.  Our 2023 VBS will be June 19-23 from 9-12.

Peace Preschool

Peace offers a weekday preschool with classes for two-year-olds through transition kindergarten (with pandemic safeguards). Our Preschool seeks to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to preschool-aged children while encouraging their mental, physical, social, and spiritual development. Director Jennifer McGehee and her early childhood staff would love to meet you and give you a tour! For more information, visit their website.
