At Peace, loving and leading children are top priorities. We want to partner with parents in their efforts to build a strong spiritual foundation for their children.
Our prayer and pursuit are that each child would understand the saving grace of Jesus Christ, growing into mature disciples that live daily in light of God’s glory and grace.
A Little Different Way of Worshiping & Ministering
Due to the pandemic, our kid's ministry looks a little different. For those that might need them, the cry room and the parlor are each available for use by one family only during the Indoor Worship Service. Also, if you worship online with our Livestream Service, please download our Children's Sermon Notes to help engage your child during the worship service. Even though this year doesn't allow us to gather, we pray God will use this time to draw your family closer together and to God.
Sunday School is a key component of our mission to partner with parents in building a strong spiritual foundation for their children. Our church’s rich legacy of children’s education focuses first on loving and nurturing these young ones. We teach Bible stories and truths from God’s Word.
Each week Alisa Arslan teaches a virtual lesson with her furry friend, Blossom which can find here. In addition, a list of all current and past virtual lessons can be found here or in the media section of our website.
Sunday Night Groups
Although not all the children's choirs are running during the pandemic, we are still offering a virtual choir opportunity for 2nd thru 5th graders, Peacemakers.

Footsteps Homeschool Group
Do you homeschool? Footsteps Homeschool Group meets together during the year (even during a pandemic). It helps provide encouragement and support for members through fellowship, prayer, and assistance. Their activities include field trips, park days, extra-curricular functions, and moms' meetings. Visit their Facebook page or contact Carey or Elizabeth for more information.
Vacation Bible School
Peace Church loves VBS! This special one-week ministry is offered free of charge each summer with classes for kindergarten-aged children through fifth graders. During the summer of 2020, we had our first Virtual VBS with Bible lessons, crafts, singing, and recipes. Since it is virtual you are able to enjoy it any time of the year, not just Summer.
Peace offers a weekday preschool with classes for two-year-olds through transition kindergarten (with pandemic safeguards). Our Preschool seeks to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to preschool-aged children while encouraging their mental, physical, social, and spiritual development. Director Jennifer McGehee and her early childhood staff would love to meet you and give you a tour! For more information, visit their website.
Peace has been the proud host of an active scouting program for more than a decade. To find out how your son or daughter can be a part of scouting at Peace, email Stan (for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts) or Sara (for American Heritage Girls).
