Gathering to study God’s word is an incredible blessing.
We would love for you to join one of these groups.

2025-06-01 Women's Bible Studies 1080x700Summer Bible Study

This summer, CDM is offering a brand-new study on Colossians & Philemon by Sarah Ivill—plus access to all Summer Bible Studies from the past four years! Each study includes weekly teaching videos and discussion questions, and you can start at your convenience. The only cost is the book for the study you choose.

These studies are perfect for personal growth or as an opportunity to invite Peace Church friends and neighbors to join you for a small group study*. If you’ve participated in a CDM Summer Study before, you’ll recognize the familiar format. If not, this is a great way to stay grounded in God’s Word throughout the summer.

Click below to view all six studies – scroll down to see the available summer studies. Expand any study for more details and a link to purchase the book.

*If you're interested in leading a group study and would like to open it up to others, please email Andrea so it can be shared with the women at Peace.

To understand God, ourselves, and our world we must start at the beginning, Genesis. GENESIS: Let Grace Begin by Will Hesterberg is an inductive, interactive Bible study that will help us discover God's purpose for us and develop a growing relationship with Him. We will see His covenantal grace extended to all people through Jesus Christ beginning in Genesis, and the imperfect people God used to carry His grace to the world.

This year our study will focus on Joseph in Genesis chapters 36-50. The story of Joseph shows how God preserves His chosen people - despite their best efforts to destroy themselves and each other.  His work in Joseph's family testifies to God's electing grace and His building of a nation from a dysfunctional band of brothers.  Workbooks are $15 and have been ordered. For more information or to request a workbook, contact Amy Spicer.

A hostile environment was discouraging the Christians in the early church. Both Jews and pagans persecuted these new believers in Christ. Drawing heavily from the Scriptures, the author of Hebrews reminded them of the superiority of their new faith over their former practices. Their Savior, Christ Jesus, who was Son of God and Son of Man, is their Great High Priest who is ever making intercession for them. He is Creator and Sustainer of the universe and King of kings! The blood of Christ brings us into his radiant presence where we worship and wonder at his majesty and grace. Contact Stephany Hull or Deanna Patton for more information.

This group will study the Bible alongside The 24 Family Ways by Clay and Sally Clarkson. Each week we will address one of the “Family Ways” and discuss how it relates to raising children, interacting with spouses, and growing more deeply in relationship with Christ. There is no preparation or pre-reading required for this study; instead, each woman will choose a verse from our meeting, write it down, and meditate on it through the week as "homework." We will also have time for prayer and fellowship. If interested in joining, contact Kerry Anne Harris.
